Irwin provides overall active on-going strategic direction, advice and support to Value-Security. Mr. Heller has participated in the design and development of Value-Security and its products. He is General Counsel and advisor to Lawrence Sherman
Irwin is a Partner (and for many years was the Managing Partner ) of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo, a highly skilled, multidisciplinary practice of more than 500 attorneys and professionals and another 500 staff people with offices in Boston, New Haven, New York, Washington, DC, London, and Reston. Mintz Levin serves as counsel to national and international public and private companies in high technology, biotechnology, communications and media, franchising, insurance, real estate development and energy, as well as major banking, insurance, and securities firms.
Irwin is also an active businessman with interests in many companies including Twin Rivers Technology of which he is Chairman, recently sold-in-part to a company owned by the government of Malaysia, and is especially highly regarded for his work supporting start-ups, including MooBella. Irwin is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and is a member of the American, Massachusetts, and Boston Bar Associations. He received his B.A. from Tufts University in 1967 where Irwin sits on the Board of Trustees, and his J.D., cum laude, from Columbia University Law School in 1970.
